Call to Worship

It is not difficult to be God’s beloved child. 

 

We are called to obey God’s commandments and live in God’s love! 

 

The ways which God ordains are ways of peace and hope. 

 

The love of God shall conquer the world. 

 

Rejoice, O people of God, for God is near! 

 

Praise God for God’s power and might, God’s love and peace. AMEN.

Affirmation of Faith

 

I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, God's own Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of the Father from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the

resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
